Danielle
Direct Support Professional | she/her
Danielle has a BA in Psychology and a professional background in mental health, including working as a yoga instructor with children, in inpatient treatment, and in quality assurance within mental health. As a DSP, she is excited to return to client-facing work and reconnect with the human connection she missed while working in QA. She is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where individuals feel heard, valued, and supported as they navigate their unique experiences. She brings a deep understanding and empathy to those navigating the complexities of living authentically within the LGBTQ+ community, as well as to individuals grieving the loss of someone they love deeply. She enjoys incorporating somatic-based approaches, mindfulness, movement, and nature into her work and believes support should be individualized and guided by each person’s goals.
Outside of her career, she loves reading, playing games, teaching yoga, spending time in nature, exploring new places, and collecting rocks. Her greatest source of joy is her pug, Clementine, who brings light, playfulness, and unconditional love to her life.
