Tori Yee
Direct Support Professional | she/her| tyee@humanconnectionsllp.com
Tori grew up in beautiful and culturally diverse San Francisco, and since moving to Portland, has developed a varied background in mental health services. She began her career in 2020 working for Multnomah County with folks with developmental conditions, navigating housing instability, and in recovery. Since then, she has continued working in client-facing positions providing similar support for several years and found her specialty connecting with youth of a variety of ages, providing behavioral support and using her lived experience having been an autistic child to uplift others. She has been a DSP since the beginning of 2025 and is eager to continue strengthening bonds and become an Oregon-certified mental health provider. Tori is a neurodivergent and queer woman of color, and her strong sense of integrity contributes to her trauma-informed and compassionate approach to direct support for marginalized communities. She spends her free time playing bass in an emo/alternative rock band, watching horror movies, cooking Chinese food, adding to her collection of VHS and retro video games, and spending time with her cats Sadie and Simon.
